The annual Handmade Arcade Spring Market is a block-party-style event featuring 30 talented emerging makers. Whether you’re just starting out as a new maker or have been crafting and creating on the side for years but have yet to take your hobby to the next level, the Handmade Arcade Spring Market is for you!*

This one-day market is a great way to hone your products, skills, and entrepreneurial experience while making a splash in Pittsburgh’s thriving arts and crafts scene. Along with the opportunity to sell your products in person to hundreds of local customers, you’ll be highlighted by Handmade Arcade in a variety of marketing promotions and press releases.

Location:

  • Construction Junction, 214 N Lexington St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208

Friday, April 28

  • Load in and set up from 4 to 6 PM (Time may vary depending on event host needs)

Saturday, April 29

  • Event open to the public from 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Free admission
  • Food trucks 

Event Fees:

  • Application fee: $5 (non-refundable)
  • Vendor fee: $75

Applications: $5 fee (non-refundable)*

  • Open on Monday, January 16, 2023
  • Close on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 11:59 PM (EST). Late applications will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Application notifications will be EMAILED on Friday, March 10, 2023
    • Important to note: this email comes from HA’s MailChimp account and can end up in your SPAM account. HA sends emails to ALL applicants (accepted, waitlisted, and those not accepted).

NEW! Spring Market Virtual Catalog

The Handmade Arcade Virtual Catalog allows Handmade Arcade’s audience to browse the makers participating in the Spring Market before they attend the event. The Virtual Catalog will be on the Handmade Arcade website after the event - allowing more exposure for new makers. 

Handmade Arcade will host a virtual meeting to walk new makers through setting up a virtual page and assist individual new makers as needed.

Required fields include business name, profile photo or logo, product category, contact info, and at least ONE slide show photo. Optional information includes the About Me narrative, website and social media links, and product images and links.

PLEASE NOTE: 

  1. Handmade Arcade cannot answer inquiries regarding application status before sending final notifications.
  2. At this time, Handmade Arcade does not accept food vendors, including chocolates, tea, honey, and candy. If you have specific questions regarding your products, please ask before you apply at info@handmadearcade.org. 
  3. The Spring Market does welcome food trucks or other small food vendors. If interested in participating, please email info@handmadearcade.org. 

 *The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for new and emerging makers. If you have participated in a past Handmade Arcade event, you do not qualify for the Spring Market.
