What You Need to Apply

Photos: 

  • You will be required to upload a minimum of TWO photos and a maximum of FOUR photos of your work. 
  • Make sure you send us CLEAR pictures! This is your chance to impress us. Collages are OK. 
  • File types: ONLY JPG and PNG files are accepted.
    • Minimum Image Dimensions: 960 px
    • Maximum Saved Dimensions: 1920 px 

Written Description of your products and creative process: 

  • A well-written description of your products and creative process is vital to your application. Please try to keep it under 300 words.
    • This is crucial to many market applications. It is a good idea to write this out in a separate document, check it for spelling and grammar, and save it for future use.

Product price range: If you are new, you are probably still figuring pricing out. That is OK! We will help you. You can estimate this answer.

The application also asks for the following information: 

  • Name
  • Contact Information: Email, Address, Phone Number 
    • Handmade Arcade will contact you via the email address that you provide. Make sure you use an email address you check regularly and that it is not misspelled in your application.
    • Please note:  Handmade Arcade sends letters to all applicants through MailChimp. Notification emails will be sent to ALL applicants on Friday, March 10. Often this email ends up in SPAM. Check for an email from info@handmadearcade.org in your folders on or after March 10. If you have previously unsubscribed from the Handmade Arcade email list, we will not be able to contact you. You can add your email to the list online here.
  • Social Media Accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and/org Twitter)
    • These are optional. You do not have to have a social media presence to be accepted.
    • Please only use business/maker-related social media accounts. Only share personal accounts if you use the account to highlight your business.
  • URL: This is optional. Handmade Arcade understands that new makers may not yet have a website.
  • Demographic Information: As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Handmade Arcade believes in hosting inclusive and diverse events. We ask for demographic information solely to hold ourselves accountable to these ideals. Your responses will be kept private and secure. Questions include:
    • Ethnic Origin, Gender Identity, and Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ Community
